Snorkel, Scuba, and Marine Life Education Camps

Jack’s Diving Locker is the Place to be for Fun and Adventure Exploring our Ocean for Kids and Teens!

Hawaii’s ocean environment is filled with pristine coral reefs, colorful reef fish, sea turtles, dolphins, manta rays and more!  Through snorkeling and scuba diving, kids and teens discover the beauty and awe of the underwater world while learning new skills and making new friends.  Jack’s Diving Locker has been offering scuba and snorkeling programs for kids and teens since 1987 that emphasize ocean ecology, marine life conservation, and environmental stewardship.  All camps are 5 days unless otherwise noted.

Kids

Jack’s Diving Locker was rated #1 for “Best Family Friendly Experience” for the Pacific, Indian Ocean and Red Sea region in Scuba Diving’s 2019 Reader’s Choice awards.

PADI Professional Camp Counselors

Camp counselors are certified PADI Instructors, Divemasters, and Rescue Divers with 1st Aid/CPR training. Scuba lessons conducted by PADI Instructors or Divemasters. PADI is the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, the world’s largest certification agency.

  • Seal Team Scuba Camp
  • Master Seal Team Scuba Camp

Ages 12-18 (10-11 year olds with experience & approval)

  • Scuba Certification Camp

Ages 12-18 -must be certified divers

  • Advanced Scuba Certification Camp
  • Ocean Guardian Camp

Kids Camp Registration:

You can check availability and make reservations online at the bottom of this page. Or give Jack’s a call at 808-329-7585 if you have any questions or to make a reservation. Space is limited, so please make reservations early. Please review the registration forms. If it is a course which includes a Scuba experiences, please review the Medical questionnaire in the forms specific to your child's camp, as soon as possible. If your child has a YES to a medical question, you will need to get a doctor’s approval before starting the course. Completed forms submitted 30 days or more prior to camp start date are appreciated. Payment for camp due by the first day of camp or prior.

Camp Cancellation Policy:

Any cancellations during the final 7 days prior to the camp will result in full charge for the camp.

Gear:

Scuba gear is provided.

Campers Provide:

Lunch, snacks, reusable water bottle, surf shirt or rash guard, swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, mask/snorkel/fins, change of clothes, and jacket. Some camps require additional course materials such as dive slates, dive planners, log books, etc.

Discounts:

Campers receive a 10% discount on course materials, dive or snorkel gear, and most merchandise at Jack’s Diving Locker. Returning campers receive $25 off, please call us to book to ensure your discount.
