PADI Rescue Diver Course
Learn the skills that will make you a more confident and competent diver in the PADI Rescue Diver course offered at Jack’s Diving Locker in Kona, Hawaii. Divers complete the class knowing they’re better buddies and more aware as divers.

Rescue Course Details
Total cost approximately $766 (not including tax)
Online Course fees: $224 (subject to change annually)
Classroom, pool & ocean instruction: $475
Student Materials: Pocket Mask -$44 & Accident Management Workslate- $23 (Prices listed have student discount applied. Material costs subject to change.)
Private options: Additional $300 per private day on request or when only one person registers
Prerequisites:
- Advanced Open Water and current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum age – 12 years old.
We Provide:
- Instruction, tanks, weights, light lunch both days and drinks.
Student Provides:
- Log book & student materials, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask/snorkel/fins, and underwater timing device (dive computer recommended), Audible surface signaling device (whistle or horn).

Rescue Course Schedule:
Two days – pool and ocean dives. Additional day(s) needed to complete course requirments result in additional fees
Call to schedule classes:
- Day 1: (8:00am-4:00pm)
- Day 2: (8:00am-4:00pm)
Things to Know:
Review the Medical Statement. If you have a YES to a medical question, you will need to get a doctor’s approval before starting the course.

Flying or Driving to Altitude After Diving: For multiple dives per day or multiple days of diving, a minimum surface interval of 18 hours is suggested before flying or driving to altitude. For a single dive, a minimum of 12 hours is suggested.
