Current EFR Primary Care certification or equivalent First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

CURRENT TRAINING

Your qualifying certification must have been completed within 24 months of the course start date.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

KNOW THE SKILLS. KNOW HOW TO TEACH THEM.

The EFR Instructor course takes your emergency-care knowledge to the next level by focusing on the skills required to become an effective instructor.

LEARN BY DOING.

Practice your demonstrations. Work through scenarios. Get feedback. Build the confidence to stand in front of your own students and teach these skills effectively.

Because knowing the material is one thing. Knowing how to teach it is another.

PREPARE TO TEACH WITH CONFIDENCE.

YOUR STUDENTS ARE LEARNING SKILLS THEY MAY ONE DAY NEED TO USE.

That makes the way you teach matter.

As an EFR Instructor, you’ll be teaching emergency-care skills that students may need to rely on when something goes wrong. Your job isn’t simply to deliver information. It’s to help your students understand the skills, practice them correctly, and build the confidence to respond.

COMMUNICATE

Present emergency-care information clearly and in a way your students can understand and remember.

DEMONSTRATE

Show students how the skills are performed and break them down into practical, manageable steps.

FEEDBACK

Observe student performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide useful feedback.

Our goal is simple: help you leave the course ready to take these skills into your own classroom and teach them with confidence.

MORE THAN A PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENT.

THIS IS A SKILL YOU CAN CARRY WITH YOU EVERYWHERE.

EFR Instructor training is an important part of professional development for PADI Instructors, but its value goes beyond the dive industry.

Emergency-care training can be taught to divers and non-divers alike. The skills you teach can help prepare people for emergencies at home, at work, while traveling, outdoors, or on the water.

You’re not just learning another course curriculum. You’re learning how to prepare other people to act.

BUILDING YOUR PROFESSIONAL DIVE CAREER?
