PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
The popularity of enriched air diving continues to grow as divers realize the benefits of using nitrox such as extended bottom time and reducing overall nitrogen load on multiple dives. This PADI specialty course doesn’t require scuba dives, but after your certification is complete you will then be qualified to dive nitrox on any of our boat trips such as our Two-Tank Day Trip or our Advanced Dive Trips.

Costs
- Classroom Instruction: $50
- Private options: Additional $175 for private class on request
- PADI Enriched Air Nitrox eLearning Course ($212-subject to change annually)

Start the eLearning Online Course
Flying or Driving to Altitude After Diving: If you complete the open water experience, it is recommended you wait at least 12 hours before flying or driving to altitude. If you make more than one open water dive on the same day; or, dive over two or more days, wait 18 hours.

- $10 / tank
- Meet 30 min prior to your scheduled dive and complete a Nitrox waiver
- Listen to the Start Today briefing & analyze your tank(s)
- Dive to a maximum of 60’ for Open Water Divers or 100’ for Advanced Divers. Must be Advanced certified to try Nitrox at night.
Master Scuba Diver Rating
The PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest rating in non-professional recreational diving. To achieve this rating you must complete the following certifications: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and 5 PADI Specialty courses. In addition, divers must have at least 50 logged dives. When completing these requirements at Jack’s Diving Locker, recipients will have their names engraved on a plaque that is displayed in our shop to honor this achievement.
