Leading Jacks Diving Locker Future Conservation Projects

Long time Ohana of Jacks Diving Locker, Alli Craig is taking on the enormous responsibility of JDLs Conservation efforts.

Growing up in a beach town in San Diego, Alli knew early on she had a deep love and connection with the ocean. But it wasn't until Alli was in college at UCSB, that she learned the principles of eco conscious living.

When Alli wasn't diving she was teaching sustainability and environmental science to local school kids for Jean Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment program. She has been inspired since then to live sustainably living on 2 different permaculture farms - one in Northern California and now here on the Big Island of Hawaii.

I am grateful to share what I have lived and learned, with kids in our junior programs and our JDL Ohana” - Alli

Leading Jacks Diving Locker Future Conservation Projects

Alli will continue our partnerships with Malama Kai’alli Foundation (day-use moorings), Ocean Defenders Alliance (ODA), and Manta Pacific Research Foundation.

  • She will be pivotal in our project towards making our products and processes more sustainable. Jacks Diving Locker is an Eco-Friendly business in Hawaii. Using and offering eco-friendly products as much as possible.

  • Alli is also the organizer of our junior camps' micro plastic beach clean every camp!

  • Jacks continues to be 100% PADI AWARE, and continue our “Adopt a Dive Site” of Garden Eel Cove, with PADI..

  • She is looking to expand our quarterly harbor clean-ups with ODA, to include community beach clean-ups events.

We are excited for 2022 and the great opportunities to get involved helping our oceans.
