Ocean Fair: Fun Activities For Keiki That Promote Conservation And Sustainability

Are you looking for a fun and educational way to keep your kids entertained at the upcoming Ocean Fair? Look no further than the exciting lineup of activities we have planned for children of all ages! From scuba mask crafts to the Buoyancy Challenge and face painting, we have something for every little adventurer.

Buoyancy Challenge

The Buoyancy Challenge is a fun and educational activity for kids that helps them learn about the principles of buoyancy. The exercise is essentially a game where children fill small containers with different combinations of air and weighted items, and then place them in a tub of water to see if they can establish neutral buoyancy. This hands-on experiment encourages children to think critically about how different objects interact with water and how to achieve balance and stability in an aquatic environment. It's a great way to get kids excited about science and exploration while having a blast in the water!

Scuba Mask Crafts

Keiki can participate in a fun and sustainable craft activity by making their own snorkel and scuba mask. By reusing pictures from dive magazines, they can create a unique design that not only looks cool, but also promotes the importance of sustainability and conservation in the ocean. It's a great way to keep kids engaged and inspired while also educating them on important issues.

For the older keiki.

The Ocean Fair event also offers a fantastic opportunity for those keiki 10 years and older, who are curious about scuba diving to experience it firsthand with our free try scuba sessions. From 10am-2pm, you can take a dip in our pool and experience what it's like to breathe underwater and explore the depths of the ocean. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to try scuba diving for the first time! Reservations are reccommended.

Our hands-on activities are designed to spark curiosity and inspire a love of ocean exploration in young minds. So, bring the whole family and join us for a day of ocean conservation, exploration, and fun!
