PADI DEEP DIVER
Dive Kona's beautiful reefs at new depths! In this exciting course you'll learn how to conduct deep dives safely and enjoyably. You'll discover new thrills, new marine life, and important skills that will prepare you for the special concerns of diving deeper!

COST: $425 plus tax or $575 for private class (incl. tanks, weights & lunch)

PREREQUISITES:

  • Advanced Open Water Certification
  • Minimum age - 15 yrs old

STUDENTS TO PROVIDE:

  • PADI Deep Diver Manual
  • Dive Table Pre-assessment (ask shop staff prior to class)
  • Log Book
  • PADI dive table
  • 2 passport size photos
  • Scuba gear, mask, snorkel, fins, timing device & knife (rental scuba gear available)

TIME REQUIRED: Two days - Four dives

DISCOUNTS: 10% off most regular priced merchandise and $5.00 off of dives or dive packages

BEFORE CLASS:

  • Complete yellow student record folder
  • Watch PADI Deep Diver video
  • Complete medical wavier **

DAY 1 (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

  • Turn in Knowledge Reviews I & II
  • Student & instructor review:
  • Complete Dive Table Pre-assessment deep dive planning, special equipment, buddy (refer to O/W Manual for dive table review) contact, buoyancy, descents & ascents, safety

Two dives: 100' max -logs dives

BEFORE CLASS DAY 2

  • Read PADI Deep Diver Manual stops & emergency decompression, nitrogen narcosis, and decompression sickness
  • Complete Knowledge Reviews

CLASS DAY 2: (8:00 am - 4:00 PM)

  • Two dives: 130' max
  • Log dives
  • Complete certification paperwork

CANCELLATION POLICY: 72 hours notice needed or full charge

**If there are any questions that have been answered YES on your Medical form, you need to get a medical release from us for your doctor to sign before starting class.**
